The entries are in! The Montgomery Energy Connection team has narrowed down the newsletter name submissions to the top 5! We saw some incredibly unique and original names for the newsletter and we’re thankful for all those that participated and  helped spread the word about our contest.

Time to Vote: Voting is OPEN and will remain open until Monday, January 10, 2022! VOTE NOW.
We will be announcing the winning name in our January newsletter so make sure you’re subscribed to see which name wins.

Selection of Winner: The top 5 names will be chosen by the Montgomery Energy Connection team and voting will run from December 13-January 10. Only one vote per person. The winner will be announced in the January 2022 newsletter.

Winning Prize: Acknowledgement in the first issue of 2022, a Love Where You Live Home Comfort Kit, and a gift card/certificate to a Montgomery Energy Connection business partner.

OFFICIAL RULES

Selection of Contest Winner: The contest begins on November 1, 2021, and newsletter name entries must be received by 11:59PM, November 30, 2021 (Eastern Standard Time). The top 3-5 names will be chosen by the Montgomery Energy Connection team and voting will run from December 13-January 10. Only one vote per person. The winner will be announced in the January 2022 newsletter.

Selection of Raffle Winner: A name will be drawn by December 6, 2021 for the raffle. If the winner cannot be reached, another name will be drawn for the raffle prize.

Contest Winning Prize: Acknowledgement in the first issue of 2022, a Love Where You Live Home Comfort Kit, and a gift card/certificate to a Montgomery Energy Connection business partner.

How to Enter: You may enter the Name Our Newsletter Contest by submitting your recommendation using our electronic submission form (see below). You will automatically be entered into the “drawing” for a Love Where You Live Home Comfort Kit.  All entries become our exclusive property and will not be acknowledged or returned. We assume no responsibility for lost, illegible, late, misdirected, stolen or incomplete entries. By submitting an entry, you have irrevocably agreed that we may display, use, or transfer the winning entry, in its sole discretion, on any websites and for any purpose throughout the world in perpetuity without further consideration. We may also elect not to use the winning entry (or any entry).

Eligibility:

  • Must be a Montgomery County resident
  • Names cannot be registered or be a trademark or brand for any other person or entity or be the name of any other business or company.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Submit only original work.
  • The name should be relatively short – two to three words. It needs to fit on the masthead of the current newsletter.
  • You may submit up to 3 newsletter name entries.
  • It should express a relationship to energy efficiency.
  • It should be unique – there are many energy-related organizations that send out newsletters. We want our newsletter to have a title that is easily identifiable with Montgomery Energy Connection.

NOTE: BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU ARE THE ORIGINAL CREATOR OF THE ENTRY AND THEREBY IRREVOCABLY ASSIGN, GRANT, TRANSFER AND OTHERWISE AGREE TO RELEASE TO SPONSOR AND/OR ITS DESIGNEES ANY AND ALL INTELLECTUAL AND OTHER PROPERTY RIGHTS YOU HAVE IN THE ENTRY (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL COPYRIGHTS AND TRADEMARK RIGHTS) THROUGHOUT THE WORLD AND IN PERPETUITY.
